CPC Successfully Hosts 'Breaking Bread with My Brothers' Event, Empowering and Inspiring the Next Generation

The Breaking Bread with My Brothers event, held on December 14, 2024, at New Direction Christian Church in Memphis, was a resounding success. The theme of this year's event, "Real Men Tell Talk," resonated deeply with everyone in attendance, creating an atmosphere of empowerment, mentorship, and hope.

The event brought together a diverse group of men committed to uplifting the next generation through mentorship, sharing their wisdom, experiences, and guidance. Young men in attendance were inspired by powerful stories of resilience and strength, highlighting the importance of building a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and community.

The keynote address by Cedric "GMT" Williams, a visionary entrepreneur and mentor, left a lasting impact. In addition to Cedric’s speech, we were honored to have a distinguished panel of speakers who contributed their expertise to the event. Pastor Deloach from Brown Baptist, Royal Chatman from Memphis Allies & Youth Villages, who spoke on issues surrounding incarceration, Coach Tommie Wilson, who shared valuable insights on mental health, and Officer Al Parks from the Memphis Police Department, who spoke about law enforcement and community relations, were all in attendance to offer their perspectives on building a stronger, more supportive community for young men.

Mentorship is vital to the growth and development of young men. Positive male role models provide the guidance, life skills, and emotional support necessary to overcome challenges and build a foundation for success.
