The Christopher A. Pugh II Center (CPC) is thrilled to announce a renewed show of support from Memphis Allies, an initiative of Youth Villages and one of the city’s most impactful violence intervention initiatives. Memphis Allies generously donated $10,000 and gifted CPC with a Sprinter Van to help expand our transportation, outreach, and programming efforts. This continued partnership strengthens our shared mission to create safer communities and provide life-changing opportunities for justice-impacted individuals.
This latest contribution builds on their previous donation of a van to CPC, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to investing in people, prevention, and purpose-driven change.
The additional van will be used to transport justice-involved participants to reentry programs, employment training, and community-based services, further strengthening CPC’s capacity to meet individuals where they are and guide them toward stability and transformation.
“This continued support from Memphis Allies is more than generous, it’s life-changing,” said Machelle Pugh, CEO/Founder of CPC. “They are not just giving resources, they’re walking alongside us in this mission to interrupt cycles of violence and restore opportunity.”
Memphis Allies is a citywide collaborative initiative focused on ending gun violence by engaging those most impacted through intensive support, intervention, and healing. Their bold vision for a safer, healthier Memphis aligns deeply with CPC’s mission to empower system-impacted youth and men through cognitive behavioral programming, mentorship, and workforce development. This partnership reflects what’s possible when organizations align for the good of the community. It’s not just about reducing violence, it's about restoring lives.
As CPC continues to expand its reach across correctional and community settings, partners like Memphis Allies are helping drive the mission forward.
