Program Highlight: Youth Leadership & Community Engagement

ree

Participants from the Christopher A. Pugh II Center attended the Iron & Integrity Gala, hosted by Tenita Freeman Ministries, where CPC served as an official partner sponsor. This event provided a meaningful platform for our young men to engage with community leaders in a formal, high-visibility setting.

Several CPC participants were selected to present awards during the gala, a role that required confidence, professionalism, and public speaking. The young men represented the Center with excellence, demonstrating growth in leadership, communication skills, and self-confidence.

This experience aligns directly with CPC’s mission to provide exposure, mentorship, and real-world opportunities that prepare young men for success beyond our programs. Being seen and celebrated in a respected community space reinforced their sense of belonging, purpose, and personal value.

This engagement reflects the ongoing transformation taking place through CPC’s youth development and leadership initiatives.
