This quarter, nine young men at the Christopher A. Pugh II Center reached an important milestone: completing the Center's Foundational Development Program after eight consistent weeks of training.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBIP), financial literacy instruction, mentorship, and basic computer skills training, building the foundation they'll carry into every opportunity ahead of them. It's not just a curriculum; it's a mindset shift, one designed to prepare young men not only to enter the workforce, but to sustain and grow within it.

The participants are now transitioning into CPC's Career Development Pathways program, where they'll receive hands-on career and workforce readiness training in fields like HVAC, CDL, culinary arts, and more.

This progression reflects the Center's holistic program model: strengthen the mindset and life skills first, then build the practical career training on that foundation. It's a model built for long-term success, not just short-term completion.
