Suited for Success: Christopher's Closet in Action This Quarter

Being workforce-ready isn't only about skill; it's about showing up with confidence, too. This quarter, Christopher's Closet lived out that belief in several ways.
In July, CPC participants attended the Dress for Success & Interview 101 event hosted by Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., receiving training on interview techniques, professional etiquette, and career readiness. To reinforce the lesson, the Center donated professional men's attire, giving participants and other job seekers the tools to present themselves confidently in real interviews.
That same spirit carried into September, when Christopher's Closet partnered with Xcelente Trucking & Logistics Training Services to provide professional attire for their CDL training graduates as they prepared for the next step in their trucking and logistics careers. The Closet also welcomed a new face that month: a senior at East High School preparing to represent his school in Kappa League, who left fully suited and ready to go.
Across 7 individuals served this quarter, Christopher's Closet proved something simple but powerful: preparation isn't complete until you look and feel ready, too. And CPC is committed to making sure every young man who walks through its doors, or partners with its programs, has exactly what he needs to show up prepared.
